I normally dislike webcomics about college roommates and their wacky friends, because most of them really suck, and endlessly recycle the same set of tired subcultural jokes. I am pleased to have discovered one which doesn’t. Friendly HOSTILITY reminds me a bit of the good old days of Goats. And it has Nyarlathotep. You can’t not love Nyarlathotep.
In other news, Hodgestar and I are fixing up Grove of Fallen Leaves, our first LARP, for Dragonfire. I am also writing down a fantasy module I ran once for some friends.
We had a DMs’ dinner on Friday. It was really cool to have a party for the specific purpose of talking about roleplaying — and we did. We should do it again sometime.
ETA: the same artist also does 5ideways, a comic wherein certain laws of physics suddenly stop working, and the world sort of ends.
ETA 2: and I found a link to Gunnerkrigg Court, a comic about a girl, and a boarding school where magical things happen, and a mysterious family history, etc. Just go read it; it’s good.
